House Manager: This parent will bring sanity to the teachers and delight to the children! They would be responsible for spending about 2 hours each week returning books, supplies and misc. learning items to where they belong, after the kids and teachers have made our best attempt at our end-of-day cleanup sessions. When there is a minor repair needed, like gluing dollhouse furniture back together, this parent will take care of it with swift ease like an elf in the night. They would also be in charge of creating and updating a supply list for the house and homeschool cooperative so that weekly shopping can be done with a quick flick of the wrist… and tap of the screen (gasp!). We would love this person to be inspired to brainstorm and implement new and better ways to organize, and run, the farmhouse for the children’s calm and joyful experience! Tuition trade for a year long commitment.
Garden Manager: This parent would be responsible for spending about 2 hours each week working with the director and garden volunteer team to acquire seeds, plants and garden tools within our budget, assist with planting and weeding (especially during the spring) and help manage and facilitate planting, harvesting and processing days with the kids (spring and fall). Our goal is to maximum our garden output for use in our daily lunches and snacks, while also having some produce and herbs left to sell at our farm stand. Tuition trade for a year long commitment.
Party Coordinator: This parent would be responsible for helping to plan and produce activities and snacks for the major holidays including Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter. Duties might include planning a Valentine card making party, making sample cards and mailboxes, and shopping for the supplies (with reimbursement). Another example would be planning a Halloween party for the kids with snacks, music, story, and/or a craft and scavenger hunt. Tuition trade for a year long commitment.
Etsy Shop Manager: This parent will check the Etsy shop daily to track order requests with our Admin director, and follow up to ensure we are shipping out packages in a timely manner. This parent will come to the farmhouse weekly, and spend 1-2 hours checking inventory, updating the Etsy shop, and ensuring all shipments have been made for the week. We also need help making sure we keep all shipping supplies in stock, and organizing storage for these items within the farmhouse.
