Math Connections Through Story and Games with Jillian Koscielniak

We want children to make their own connections. Story problems are a wondrous gateway to help children understand how math is related to the real world.

In this class children will:

  • Understand the quality of numbers and how they can be manipulated (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
  • Learn tools and strategies to help solve math challenges with confidence
  • Learn and practice problem-solving skills, such as perseverance, keeping an open mind, there are various ways to find a solution, collaborating and communicating ideas with others, and much, much more!
